Game 1 - Categories is a fast-paced game that is great for reviewing facts.
The TV Time sample game begins with Match 1 containing 3 categories with 3 questions per category. The questions are worth a varying amount of points ranging from 100-300. The difficulty level of the question usually coincides with the increasing point values. The individuals compete for points by first selecting a category and point value. When the question is revealed, the user is instructed to click the answer that best describes the question. If the user answers correctly, they win the point value of the question. If the user is incorrect they lose the point value indicated. If the time runs out before the user selects their answer, the answer is revealed and the user is instructed to choose another point value. You may also hide special "bonus questions" on the board. The user can wager all or part of their accumulated points. The amount wagered will be added to the user's total score if the response is correct and subtracted if the response is incorrect. The game ends with a "final question" where the user wagers points from their accumulated score based on a category heading. After they wager their points, the question in revealed. They are then given 30 seconds to select the correct answer. If they answer correctly, the points they wagered are added to their score, if not, they are deducted.
