Instructor Commands

The Instructor controls the game by clicking options on the screen and pressing keys on the keyboard. Gameshow Pro 4's flexibility allows you to choose your own combination of mouse clicks and keyboard commands. Screen options are not listed here. Keyboard commands are defined in the table below.

Space Bar
1) Start the game and view/scroll the beginning game screens, 2) Reveal the Answer after Ring-In Timer bar disappears; press the Space Bar again to return to the game board, or 3) Display any Info that may be associated with a question.

1 & 2 keys
Identify which team rang in first; select a different team that may choose to answer a question. (Team 1 = 1 and Team 2 = 2)

+(plus) key
Signify the answer is correct. The + key will reveal the answer and the appropriate points are given to that team. Press the Space Bar to return to the game board.

-(minus) key
Signify a team's answer is incorrect; their scoreboard will dim and allow another team to ring in.




Note: Optional Gameshow Pro 4 Wireless Buzzer Systems include a keypad for the game show Host or Instructor. Using the keypad, you can run a game show without using a mouse or keyboard, freeing you to move about the room, if desired.
