What's New in Gameshow Pro 4?
Previous  Top  Next

What makes Gameshow Pro 4 so different from its predecessor, Gameshow Pro 3? There are over 50 new features and improvements for Game 1 alone! Don't let all the new features scare you, though. Gameshow Pro 4 retains Gameshow Pro 3's easy-to-use mold, and it was designed with users in mind to be even more intuitive and easy to navigate.

What are some NEW features?

1. Graphic Themes - This feature will allow instructors to change the entire graphic theme of the game board. From the background graphics to the buttons, it changes the entire look of the game. Select either Classic (Gameshow Pro 3 game board), Hip, Corporate or Fun.

2. Question Library - This feature will allow users to store and/or consolidate gameshow questions in a local library. When building gameshows, they can retrieve previously saved questions by clicking and dragging them directly into a new gameshow or an existing one.

3. Customizable Team Colors - This feature lets you select different color settings for the team boxes.

4. Customizable Sounds - This feature will allow the customization of all buzzer ring-in sounds (e.g., "Yellow Team" instead of "Team 1").

5. Additional Info Screens - This feature will allow the presentation of Info Screens:

·During a question, as a (Hint)
·After the question, as a follow-up Info screen

In Game 2, Classroom Feud, each of the 10 possible answers can have its own Info screen.

6. Early Ring-In Penalty - This feature in Game 1 automatically locks-out a team that rings in early for a designated amount of time, treats an early ring-in as an incorrect answer, deducts a selected amount of points from an early ringer, or immediately demands an answer (without completing the question). This customizable feature discourages teams from ringing in for the sake of ringing in first. *Note: This feature works with wired or wireless buzzer systems.

7. Question Review - This feature will allow the gameshow host to review the game show's questions, answers, and infos after a game is played.

8. Product Translation Area - This feature will make it possible for users who speak single-byte languages (Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, etc.) to translate the product's system messages into their native language. (It is already possible to display Q&A in these languages.)

14. Q&A Database Search Engine - Gameshow Pro 4's sophisticated search feature will allow you to search for words within your questions only, answers only, questions OR answers, info screens and descriptions. You may also limit your search to a particular category, number of answers, or media. (You can access this from the Filter feature in the Question Bank)

15. Recording Results - Games may now be saved in progress ANYWHERE in a game, not just when you are at the game board screen. This feature will create a log of gameshow results that will document questions displayed, which teams answered, and how they answered, allowing trainers to document more fully how a group is performing.
