Clicking on Identify players by name requires that you select to either use an existing list, (which can be created prior to the event under the Teams & Transmitters tab in Edit Class Lists) or enter the list of player names manually.
For this example, we have entered 10 player names to the list:
At this time, hand out 1 transmitter per player and ask them to follow the instructions on the board. Each player presses the corresponding 2-character key code to map the transmitter to their name. i.e. - Tom would press AA on his transmitter verifying that his transmitter is now mapped to him.
NOTE: Be sure to wait for the green "vote status" indicator to flash on the keypads between each character. Enter "E" or "5" depending on which system you selected to start over if you make a mistake.
If all the players correctly verify their transmitters, it will show a 3-digit number in the verify column. That e-digit number should match the number located on the front of that players' transmitter. If it does not match, then press "E" to start over.
Next, choose either to assign players to teams using the keypads or assign players to teams randomly:
Selecting assign players to teams using the keypads will require all players to press "A" on their keypad when their team appears on the screen to assign them to that team:
Alternatively, selecting assign players to teams randomly will activate AllPlay to select at random which player is assigned to which team:
After all players have assigned themselve to teams, a review list will appear to make sure everyone is accounted for:
The final window allows all players to test their transmitters. The number to the left of each test "block/window" matches the number on the face of each players' keypad.
When players press either A, B, C, D or E on the transmitters, AllPlay will light each players' testing box with the corresponding letter indicating visually that their transmitter is working:
